Trial of the Crusader プレビュー #1

■Raid概要

3.2から加わったこの新Raidは、とても短いInstanceだ。
Trash Mobがおらず、純粋にボスとの戦闘だけを楽しめる。
ボスエンカウンターは計5つ。

難易度はUlduarよりも上で、Tier 9コンテンツにあたる。

場所はIcecrownの、Argent Tournamentがあるところ。
その中央に「Crusaders' Coliseum」が建てられており、
Trial of the CrusaderはそこのInstanceの1つだ。

■4つに区分されるRaid Instance

Crusaders' Coliseumには全部で6つのInstanceがある。

・Trial of the Champion … 5man
・Trial of the Champion (Heroic) … 5man Heroic
・Trial of the Crusader (10 Player) … 10man
・Trial of the Grand Crusader (10 Player) … 10man Heroic
・Trial of the Crusader (25 Player) … 25man
・Trial of the Grand Crusader (25 Player) … 25man Heroic

北側にある入り口は5man Instanceへ、東側にある入り口はRaid Instanceへ
それぞれ通じている。

4つのRaid Instanceは全て入り口が共通している。
というのも3.2からDungeon/Raid Settingの様式が変わり、
Raid Leaderが設定した難易度のRaid Instanceへ自動的に入れられるのだ。

設定できるRaidの難易度は「10man」「10man Heroic」
「25man」「25man Heroic」の4種類。

4つのRaidは全てLockoutが分けられてSaveされる。
すなわち、すでにNormalの10man RaidにSaveされたとしても、
Heroic版の10man Raidの方は新規に始めることができるのだ。

なお、「10man Heroic」と「25man Heroic」を持つRaid Instanceは
現在Trial of the Crusaderだけで、
NaxxやUlduarなどの既存Raidの「Heroic」バージョンは存在しない。

■Loot Item

Trial of the Crusaderで得られるItemの強さは以下のとおり。

・10man … Item Level 232
・10man Heroic … Item Level 245
・25man … Item Level 245
・25man Heroic … Item Level 258

そして、新しいバッジであるEmblem of Triumphが
4種のRaid全てから入手できる。

Emblem of Triumphは、Coliseum前のNPCまで訪れることによって
Item Level 245相当の装備品と交換可能だ。

■T9セット

T7セットおよびT8セットには、少々Statsの強い上位版が存在した。
そして今回のT9セットには、さらにもう一つ上のランクが加わる。
よって、全部で3つのランクのT9があるというわけだ。

もちろん違いは見た目とStatsの強弱だけであり、
3つのランクのどのような組み合わせでもセットボーナスは得られる。

それぞれのItem Levelと値段は以下のとおり。

・～of Conquest … Item Level 232
・～of Triumph … Item Level 245
・～of Triumph Heroic … Item Level 258

・～of Conquest (Shoulder, Hands) … Emblems of Triumph x30
・～of Conquest (Head, Chest, Legs) … Emblems of Triumph x50
・～of Triumph (Shoulder, Hands) … Emblems of Triumph x45, Trophy of the Crusade x1
・～of Triumph (Head, Chest, Legs) … Emblems of Triumph x75, Trophy of the Crusade x1
・～of Triumph Heroic … T9 Token x1

最も下位の「Conquest」は、Triumphバッジだけで買うことができる。
TriumphバッジはDaily Heroic Dungeonのクエストからでももらえるので、
Raidに行かない者でも一応は入手可能となっている。

中位の「Triumph」は、Triumphバッジの他にTrophy of the Crusadeが一つ必要となる。
TrophyはItem Level 245相当のRaid、
すなわちTrial of the Crusaderの10man Heroicおよび25manから拾うことができる。

最上位の「Triumph Heroic」にはTriumphバッジが必要ない。
Trial of the Crusaderの25man Heroicから得られるT9 Tokenを支払うだけだ。
T9 Tokenは今までのTokenのように
「Conqueror (Paladin, Priest, Warlock)」
「Protector (Warrior, Hunter, Shaman)」
「Vanquisher (Rogue, Death Knight, Mage, Druid)」
と3種類あり、それぞれに応じたClassだけがそのTokenを利用できる。
ただしパーツの区分はなくなり、Token一つで
好きなパーツを一つ買うことが可能だ。

■徐々に増えていくエンカウンター

なお、このTrial of the Crusaderは、リリースされてから
1週間ごとに1体ずつボスが追加されていく仕様となっている。
3.2導入直後の週は、最初のエンカウンターであるNorthrend Beastsしかいないのだ。

さらにHeroic版の方は、Normal版を「全てComplete（クリアの意味？）」しないと
始まりもしない。
よって、Heroicに挑戦できるのは最低でも4週間後となりそうだ。
